At Rack Revive, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy marketplace. To protect both buyers and sellers, all designer items must be authenticated before being listed. We partner with Real Authentication to ensure every item meets industry standards for authenticity.

1. Authentication Requirements for Sellers
✔ Mandatory Authentication: Every designer item must be authenticated before being listed.
✔ Proof of Authentication: Sellers must provide valid authentication documentation from a reputable authentication service, such as Real Authentication, at the time of listing.
✔ Authentication Through Rack Revive: If a seller does not have proof of authenticity, they may request authentication through Real Authentication via Rack Revive before listing their item.
🚨 Listings without authentication proof will not be approved.

2. Buyer Assurance & Reauthentication Rights
We understand that authenticity is critical when purchasing designer items. If a buyer questions the authenticity of an item they receive, they have the right to request reauthentication.
✔ Buyers may submit the item for reauthentication through Real Authentication at their own expense.
✔ If the item is confirmed as authentic, no further action will be taken.
✔ If the item is found to be counterfeit, the buyer will receive:
✅ A full refund for the item
✅ Reimbursement for the reauthentication fee
Counterfeit item must be sent to us at Rack Revive. Seller can request another authentication, if they truly believe the previous results were wrong.

3. Seller Liability for Counterfeit Items
🚨 Selling counterfeit items is strictly prohibited. If an item is found to be counterfeit:
✔ The seller will be required to refund the buyer in full.
✔ The seller will be responsible for all associated reauthentication costs.
✔ The seller’s account may be suspended or permanently banned.
📢 IMPORTANT: If a seller knowingly lists a counterfeit item, they may be subject to legal action in addition to being permanently banned from our platform.

4. How to Authenticate Through Rack Revive
If a seller does not have authentication proof, they can request authentication through Real Authentication via Rack Revive by following these steps:
1️⃣ Submit high-quality images of the item through our Authentication Request Form.
2️⃣ Pay the authentication fee via credit or debit card.
3️⃣ Receive authentication results within 1 business days.
4️⃣ If authenticated, the seller will receive a certificate of authenticity, and the item will be approved for listing.

5. What Happens if a Buyer Requests Reauthentication?
If a buyer believes an item they received is not authentic:
1️⃣ The buyer must submit the item to Real Authentication for a professional review.
2️⃣ If the item is confirmed as authentic, the case is closed.
3️⃣ If the item is confirmed as counterfeit, the buyer will receive a full refund, and the seller will be held responsible.
🔹 Sellers who repeatedly list questionable items may be permanently banned.
